Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Blendit's website, app, and services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. The short version: be a good travel buddy.
1. The Service
Blendit lets you and your group paste links to social content, extracts the real-world places mentioned in them, and helps your group vote those places into a shared itinerary. The Service is currently in beta and provided free of charge; features may change as we iterate.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account or joining the early-access list.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your invite links within groups you trust.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
3. Your content
- You retain whatever rights you have in the links and content you add. You give us a limited license to fetch, process, and display that content within your trips so the Service can work.
- Content you paste remains subject to the terms of the platform it came from. Don't use Blendit to redistribute content you have no right to share.
- Extracted data (place names, coordinates, votes, itineraries) belongs to your trip and is visible to its members.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, scrape, or overload the Service, or attempt to access trips you weren't invited to.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or misleading.
- Misrepresent AI-extracted information as verified fact — extracted places are suggestions, and venues change. Always confirm hours, bookings, and details with the venue.
5. AI extraction disclaimer
Place extraction is automated and sometimes wrong. We provide correction tools inside the app, but we don't guarantee the accuracy, availability, or quality of any extracted place, and we're not responsible for plans made from it. The real world wins over the map.
6. Third-party platforms
Blendit is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, or any other platform you paste links from. Trademarks belong to their owners.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for accounts that violate these terms. We may also end the beta or change the Service with reasonable notice.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is" during beta, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blendit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including trips that didn't go to plan.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before taking effect. Continued use after that point means you accept the new terms.
